Anthropology of the Contemporary Middle East and Central Eurasia (ACME) is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the anthropological study of all societies and cultures in the Middle East and Central Eurasia. The journal will publish original research by social scientists not only in the area of anthropology but also in sociology, folklore, religion, material culture and related social sciences. It will encompass all areas of modern and contemporary Middle East and Central Eurasia (Russia, the Caucasus, Central Asia, China), including topics on minority groups and religious themes.
